Cursed Mirror
You inherit your grandmother’s antique mirror and hang it in your hallway.
One evening, you notice your reflection blinks a half-second after you do.
Over the following days, the delay grows longer.
Your reflection starts to move differently, making expressions you aren’t making.
Then one night, you walk past the mirror and see your reflection isn’t there at all.
Instead, you’re staring at an empty hallway.
You hear footsteps behind you, in the real hallway, matching the rhythm of someone walking through
the mirror’s version. When you turn around, nothing is there.
But in the mirror’s reflection, you can now see yourself standing in the hallway, and the thing
wearing your face is smiling at the back of your head.
