Replacing the Irreplaceable

My presence in high school was never just that of a student.

I was the voice of representation and the spirit of every

stage.

As the audience’s favorite, every speech carried the seal

of my identity.

The stage was my home, where applause was louder than my

fears.

Then, a strange knock on the classroom door changed my

entire reality.

It was an invitation to be a spectator, not a performer,

at the next event.

The card read: “Eneida, you’re no longerpart of our stages”

A heavy, questioning silence filled the corridors and

my own heart.

The union claimed I was a

"repeated figure"

and they wanted

“new faces”.

They wanted younger students, but this felt like a

punishment for my brilliance.

The news spread like a hurricane, sparking an immediate

student revolt.

The school divided into two: those who wanted me and

the union leaders.

By removing me, the leadership broke the very seal of that

stage.

The big day arrived, and for the first time, I sat in the

last row.

Union members approached me, mocking my new place at the

"end"

of the stage.

"Your era has ended, Eneida,"

they whispered with cold voices.

But as my replacement stepped into the light, the unexpected

happened.

In a mass revolt, the spectators refused to listen, cheering

my name loudly.

This strike hit the union hard as the truth finally

came to light.

The stage doesn't love everyone; it only loves those born

to stand on it.
