Tsunami Escape
After an undersea quake triggers a chain of tsunamis, Aksel and his younger sister Mia flee their collapsing fishing town with a small group of survivors. As flooded streets, forests, and landslides destroy every safe route, they race toward a hidden bunker inside a mountain tunnel — but the final climb costs more than Aksel can bear.
Aksel. The sea just pulled back from the harbor.
Run inland. Right now.
Everyone's standing there filming.
Don't film. MOVE.
School alarm just started screaming.
Harbor control here. If you can read this, leave the waterfront immediately.
Ambulance line is dead. Main road is flooding already.
Mia where are you?
Outside the gym. The ground just shook again.
Get to the old church steps. I'm coming from the pier.
Aksel the pier is gone.
What do you mean gone?
Boats are in the street.
Second siren failed. We lost power at the station.
Don't come through the market. Buildings are coming down.
Mia take the alley behind the bakery.
There's water in the alley too.
How deep?
Above my knees. Rising fast.
New wall of water beyond the breakwater.
Mia RUN.
I can hear people screaming behind me.
Gym roof just folded.
Find the red church door.
I see it.
