The Bear and the Two Friends

Once upon a time, two friends were walking together through a deep forest.

They knew the forest was dangerous and that trouble could come at any moment.

Before continuing their journey, they made a promise to each other:

they would always stay united in times of danger.

Suddenly, a huge bear appeared on the path.

Terrified, one of the friends immediately climbed a nearby tree to save himself.

The other friend did not know how to climb.

With quick thinking, he lay flat on the ground and pretended to be dead.

He held his breath and did not move.

The bear came close, sniffed his ears, and after a moment, slowly walked away.

The danger had passed.

The friend in the tree climbed down and asked,

What did the bear whisper to you?

He told me not to trust a false friend.

A true friend stays by your side in danger.
