Shadow in a hollow

It was 2:37 AM. Arben was alone in the house. The house was old, and

strange noises at night were nothing unusual… but that night felt different.

As he lay in bed, he heard slow footsteps in the hallway.

Step… Step… Step… At first, he thought it might be the wind moving a window.

He got up and slowly opened his bedroom door. The hallway was completely

dark, except for a faint light at the far end. But as he looked carefully…

he saw a shadow slowly move across the wall. Arben raised his voice:

"Who’s there?"

No answer. Suddenly, the hallway light began to flicker.

Off… On… Off… When the light came back on… the shadow was closer.

His heart started beating faster. One thing was certain: He was completely

alone in the house. He slowly turned to go back into his room… but

when he reached the door, he noticed something that made him freeze.

On the wall behind him… there was the shadow of another person.

But when he turned around… no one was there. At that moment, his phone sudden

lit up by itself. A message appeared on the screen from an unknown number:

"Don’t turn around."

Arben suddenly felt cold breath on the back of his neck.

And then he realized something terrifying… The message had been sent from his

own phone. 👁️
